Colourise Painting repaints the outside of Sydney homes, from weatherboard cottages to rendered two-storey houses. We are a family-owned, licensed painting business (Lic. No. 142 843C) with over 30 years of experience, and our exterior work is backed by a 10-year warranty.
Sydney weather is hard on paint. Sun fades it, rain gets in behind it and coastal air breaks it down. That is why most of an exterior job is preparation: pressure washing, scraping and sanding back flaking paint, repairing timber and render, treating rust and mould, then priming before the top coats go on. Done properly, an exterior repaint protects the house as well as lifting how it looks.

It depends on the surface, the quality of the last paint job and how exposed the house is to sun and weather. Peeling, fading, chalky surfaces or bare timber are signs it is time. We can inspect the house and tell you honestly whether it needs doing now or can wait.
Most single-storey homes take around one to two weeks, depending on size, the amount of preparation and the weather. We give you a start and finish date with your quote and keep you updated if rain holds things up.
We plan exterior work around the forecast and do not paint in conditions that would affect the finish. If the weather turns, we reschedule those days and let you know.
